Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) Disclosure Statement
As Shuttle Vehicle Rental, in our capacity as data controller under the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) (“KVKK”), we attach great importance to the security and confidentiality of your personal data. This Disclosure Statement has been prepared to explain the purposes for which your personal data is processed, to whom it may be transferred, the method of its collection, its legal grounds, and your rights under the KVKK.
1. Data Controller
Your personal data is processed by Shuttle Vehicle Rental in its capacity as data controller, within the scope set out below.
2. Categories of Personal Data Processed
Within the scope of your use of our services, the following categories of personal data may be processed:
- Identity Information: Name, surname, and, where requested, the identity/driving licence information required for the vehicle rental agreement.
- Contact Information: Telephone number, e-mail address, address.
- Customer Transaction Information: Requests, reservations, routes, dates, and service details.
- Transaction Security Information: The IP address, cookies, and log records generated when you visit our website.
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Providing and organizing shuttle vehicle, Vito, and VIP vehicle rental and transfer services,
- Conducting request, reservation, and price quotation processes,
- Communicating with you and responding to your requests,
- Fulfilling contractual processes and legal obligations,
- Measuring and improving the quality of our services and ensuring customer satisfaction,
- Fulfilling legal obligations towards authorized institutions and organizations.
4. Method of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Grounds
Your personal data is collected through automated and non-automated methods via the contact and request forms on our website, telephone, WhatsApp, e-mail, and verbal/written communication channels. This data is processed pursuant to Article 5 of the KVKK on the legal grounds of the establishment or performance of a contract, the fulfilment of a legal obligation, legitimate interest, and, where necessary, your explicit consent.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
In line with the fulfilment of the purposes stated above, your personal data may be transferred only to the extent necessary and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK to legally authorized public institutions and organizations, our business partners, and the suppliers from whom we receive services (e.g., drivers, vehicle business partners). Your data is not shared with third parties except where required by the service and is not sold for marketing purposes.
6. Rights of the Data Subject (Article 11 of the KVKK)
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a personal data owner you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- To request information if it has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
- To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- To request its deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions provided for in the KVKK,
- To request that correction, deletion, and destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- To object to a result being reached against you as a consequence of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- To request compensation for damages in the event that you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
7. Application Method
You can submit your requests regarding the rights stated above, together with information verifying your identity, through the following communication channels. Your request will be concluded free of charge within the period provided for in the KVKK (no later than 30 days).
